கேடோபூமா (Catopuma) இரண்டு சிறிய காட்டுப் பூனை சிற்றினங்களான, ஆசியப் பொன்னிறப் பூனை (கே. தெம்மினிக்) மற்றும் வளைகுடா பூனை (கே. பாடியா) ஆகிய சிற்றினங்களைக் கொண்ட பூனைக்குடும்ப பேரினமாகும். இது பர்தோபெலிசு பேரினத்துடன் சேர்ந்து இது பூனைகளின் வளைகுடா பூனை வரிசையை உருவாக்குகிறது.[1] Both are typically reddish brown in colour, with darker markings on the head.[2][3] இரண்டு சிற்றினங்களும் 4.9-5.3 மில்லியன் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு, போர்னியோ அண்டை தீவுகளிலிருந்து பிரிவதற்கு நீண்ட காலத்திற்கு முன்பே ஒன்றிலிருந்து மற்றொன்று வேறுபட்டன. இவற்றின் நெருங்கிய உறவினர் பளிங்குப் பூனை (பர்தோபெலிசு மார்மோராட்டா) ஆகும். இதிலிருந்து கேடோபூமா பேரினத்தின் பொதுவான மூதாதையர் சுமார் 9.4 மில்லியன் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு தோன்றியுள்ளது.[4]
வகைப்பாட்டியல்[தொகு]
கேடோபூமா என்ற பெயர் 1858ஆம் ஆண்டில் நிகோலாய் செவர்ட்சோவ் என்பவரால் பெலிசு மூர்மென்சிசு மாதிரி இனமாக முன்மொழியப்பட்டது. இது பிரையன் ஹொக்டன் ஹோட்சன் என்பவரால் விவரிக்கப்பட்டது.[5][3]
