I just wanted to give you this barnstar as a token of appreciation for creating the new Tamil article on the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, María Corina Machado!

In case you didn't know, Wikimedia Norge host an annual editathon, WikiNobel, for updating Wikipedias in various languages on the day of the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize. If you were not part of the editathon this year (I can't always match usernames with Telegram/Zoom names), you are more than welcome to join us next year!

We're happy to share that scholarship applications for WikiConference India 2026 are currently open and the deadline is just around the corner.

WikiConference India 2026 is the fourth edition of the national-level conference that brings together Wikimedians and stakeholders engaged in Indic-language Wikimedia projects and the broader open knowledge movement across India and South Asia. The conference will take place in Kochi, Kerala, from 4–6 September 2026.
