நாதிர் ஷா (Nader Shah) ஈரானை ஆட்சி செய்த ஓர் அரசனாவார். இவர் பிறந்தது 1688 என்றும் [1] ஆகஸ்டு மாதம் 6 ஆம் தியதி 1698 [2] என்றும் இரு தகவல்கள் உள்ளன. இவர் சூன் 19 , 1747 ஆம் ஆண்டு மரணமடைந்தார். இவரை பாரசீகத்தின் நெப்போலியன் அல்லது இரண்டாம் அலெக்சாந்தர் என்று சில வரலாற்றாசிரியர்கள் அழைக்கின்றனர்..[4] நாதிர் ஷா வடக்கு பாரசீகத்தின் பழங்குடி இனமான அப்சரித்து வம்சத்தைச் சார்ந்தவர்.[5]
இந்தியா மீதான படையெடுப்பு[தொகு]
1738 ஆம் ஆண்டு கந்தகாரை கைப்பற்றிய நாதிர் ஷா சிந்து ஆற்றை கடந்து, கைபர் கணவாய் வழியாக இந்தியாவில் புகுந்து, தில்லி மொகலாய மன்னர் [[முகம்மது ஷாவின் படைக்கும், நாதிர் ஷாவின் படைக்கும் 1739 ல் அரியானாவின் கர்னால் பகுதியில் போர் நடைபெற்றது. இப்போரில் 30 ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்டோரை நாதிர் ஷாவின் படை கொன்று குவித்தது. தோல்வியடைந்த முகம்மது ஷா, நாதிர் ஷாவுடன் மேற்கொண்ட உடன்படிக்கையின் விளைவாக கோஹினூர் வைரமும், விலை மதிப்பு மிக்க மயிலாசனமும், கோடிக்கணக்கான ரூபாய் மதிப்புள்ள தங்க நகைகளும் நாதிர் ஷாவுக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டன. முகமது ஷாவின் மகளை, தன் மகனுக்கு திருமணம் செய்வித்தான்.[6]
