இந்திய மாநில வாரியாக காட்டுயிரி எண்ணிக்கை
வங்காளப் புலி மற்றும் இந்திய யானை ஆகியவை அருகிய உயிரினங்களாகும். இவை புலித் திட்டம் மற்றும் யானைத் திட்டம் போன்ற இந்திய அரசாங்கத்தின் சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் வனத்துறை அமைச்சகத்தால் நடத்தப்படும் திட்டங்களால் பாதுகாக்கப்படுகின்றன.[1][2][3] இந்தியச் சிறுத்தைகள் அச்சுறுத்தப்பட்டுப் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட இனங்களாகும்.[4][5]
உலகின் புலி எண்ணிக்கையில் (1.5 ஆண்டுகள் வயதுடைய) 75%[6] மற்றும் ஆசிய யானை மக்கள் தொகையில் 55% இந்தியாவில் உள்ளது.[7]
மாநில வாரியான தரவு[தொகு]
- தென்னிந்திய மாநிலங்களான கர்நாடகா, கேரளா, ஆந்திரா மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு கிட்டத்தட்ட 44% யானைகள், 35% புலிகள் மற்றும் 31% சிறுத்தைகள் உள்ளன.[8]
- கர்நாடக மாநிலத்தில் மட்டும் 22% யானைகள், 18% புலிகள் மற்றும் 14% சிறுத்தைகள் உள்ளன.
- வடகிழக்கு இந்திய மாநிலங்களான அசாம், அருணாச்சல பிரதேசம், மிசோரம், மேகாலயா மற்றும் திரிபுரா ஆகிய நாடுகளும் மேற்கு வங்கத்துடன் இணைந்து யானைகளில் 30% மற்றும் புலி எண்ணிக்கையில் 5% ஆகும்.
- உலகில் 100% ஆசியச் சிங்க மக்கள்தொகை கொண்ட ஒரே மாநிலம் குஜராத் மாநிலம்.[9]
- பஞ்சாப், அரியானா, தெலுங்காணா, மணிப்பூர், இமாச்சலப் பிரதேசம், சிக்கிம் மற்றும் காஷ்மீர் ஜம்மு ஆகிய மாநிலங்களின் தகவல்கள் இல்லை.
