அக்கு வாஜ்பாய் ஷா (Haku Vajubhai Shah) (24 மார்ச் 1934 - 21 மார்ச் 2019) ஓர் இந்திய ஓவியரும், காந்தியம், கலாச்சார மானுடவியல், நாட்டுப்புறம், பழங்குடிக் கலை மற்றும் கலாச்சாரம் பற்றிய எழுத்தாளரும் ஆவார். இவரது கலை பரோடா குழுமத்தைச் சேர்ந்தது. இவரது படைப்புகள் நாட்டுப்புற அல்லது பழங்குடி கலைகளின் கருப்பொருள்களை இந்தியக் கலைக்கு கொண்டு வந்த கலைஞர்களின் வரிசையில் கருதப்படுகின்றன. கலைக்கு இவர் செய்த பங்களிப்புக்காக பத்மசிறீ விருது (1989), ஜவகர்லால் நேரு கூட்டாளர் கௌரவம், கலா ரத்னா உள்ளிட்ட பல விருதுகளைப் பெற்றார். [3]

ஆரம்பகால வாழ்க்கையும் கல்வியும்[தொகு]

இவர், மார்ச் 26, 1934இல், [4] [5] வலோதில் (இப்போது குசராத்தின் சூரத் மாவட்டம்) வாஜ்பாய் மற்றும் வதன்பென் ஆகியோருக்குப் பிறந்தார். இவரது தாயார் மகாத்மா காந்தியால் தாக்கம் பெற்றார். அது இவரையும் பாதித்தது. இவர் தனது ஆரம்ப மற்றும் இடைநிலைப் பள்ளி கல்வியை வலோதில் முடித்தார். படிக்கும்போதே மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் தீவிர உறுப்பினராக இருந்தார். 1955 ஆம் ஆண்டில் வடோதரா மகாராஜா சாயாஜிராவ் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் நுண்கலைகளில் (பி.எஃப்.ஏ) பட்டம் பெற்றார். அதே பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் நுண்கலைகளில் முதுகலை பட்டமும் பெற்றார் (எம்.எஃப்.ஏ). இவரது பணிகள் பொதுமக்களின் கவனத்தை ஈர்த்தது. 1965 வாக்கில் இவர் கொல்கத்தா மற்றும் மும்பையில் பல தனி நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்தினார். 1968ஆம் ஆண்டில், பிலடெல்பியா கலை அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் ஆர்ட் கிரிடிக் ஸ்டெல்லா கிராம்ரிச் என்ற அமைப்பு ஏற்பாடு செய்த 'அறியப்படாத இந்தியா' என்ற கண்காட்சியை இவர் நடத்தினார். அதே ஆண்டில் இராக்ஃபெல்லர் உதவித் தொகையையும், 1971 இல் நேரு கூட்டாளர் விருதையும் பெற்றார். பல ஆண்டுகளாக, கிராமப்புற மற்றும் பழங்குடி கலைகள் மற்றும் கைவினைப்பொருட்கள், மரபுகள் மற்றும் நாட்டுப்புறக் கதைகள் குறித்து விரிவான கள ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் ஆவணங்களை இவர் மேற்கொண்டார். தெற்கு குசராத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு காந்தி ஆசிரமத்தில் பல ஆண்டுகளாக கற்பித்த இவர், அகமதாபாத்தில் உள்ள குஜராத் வித்யாபீடத்தில் ஒரு பழங்குடி அருங்காட்சியகத்தை நிறுவினார். இது மகாத்மா காந்தியால் அமைக்கப்பட்டது. இவர் அதை பல ஆண்டுகளாக அருங்காட்சியகத்தை நிர்வகித்தார். இது இவரது கடைசி பணியாக இருந்தது. இவரது படைப்புகள் பழங்குடி கலை மற்றும் கலாச்சாரத்தால் ஆழமாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தன. இவரது பல படைப்புகளில் கருப்பொருளாக பக்தி இயக்கம், குறிப்பாக அதன் நிர்குனக் கவிதை ஆகியவை இடம் பெற்றன. [3] காந்திய தத்துவத்தாலும் இவர் ஆழ்ந்த ஈடுபாடு கொண்டிருந்தார். [7] 1980களில், ராஜஸ்தானின் உதயப்பூரில் சில்பிராம் என்ற கிராமத்தில் ஒரு கைவினைக் கிராமம் அமைப்பதில் இவர் முக்கிய பங்கு வகித்தார்.

2009 ஆம் ஆண்டில், "மனுஷ்" என்ற தலைப்பில் தனது நினைவுக் குறிப்புகளை வெளியிட்டார். [7]

மாரடைப்பு ஏற்பட்டதைத் தொடர்ந்து அகமதாபாத்தில் 2019 மார்ச் 21 அன்று காலமானார். [3] [7]
