கிறித்தவ ஒன்றிப்பு (Ecumenism) என்பது பிளவுபட்டு நிற்கின்ற கிறித்தவத் திருச்சபைகள் தமக்குள்ளே அதிக ஒற்றுமை நிலையை அடையவும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து செயல்படவும் மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகின்ற முயற்சிகளைக் குறிக்கும். கொள்கை, வரலாறு, நடைமுறை போன்றவற்றில் பிளவுபட்டிருக்கின்ற திருச்சபைகள் ஒன்றிணைந்து வருவது இங்கே குறிக்கப்படுகிறது.

உலகில் பரவியிருக்கின்ற பல்வேறு சமயங்கள் தமக்குள்ளே ஒற்றுமையையும் ஒத்துழைப்பையும் வளர்ப்பதற்காக எடுக்கப்படுகின்ற முயற்சிகள் "பல்சமய உரையாடல்" (interfaith dialogue/cooperation) என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

கிறித்தவ ஒன்றிப்பு என்பதற்கு ஈடான ecumenism என்ற ஆங்கிலச் சொல்லின் கிரேக்க மூலம் oikoumene (οἰκουμένη) என்பதாகும். இச்சொல் "மக்கள் வாழ்கின்ற பரந்த உலகம்" என்று பொருள்படும். வரலாற்றில், உரோமைப் பேரரசின் பரப்பை இச்சொல் குறித்தது.

இறையியல் கருத்துப்படி, கிறித்தவ ஒன்றிப்பு என்பது அனைத்துத் திருச்சபைகளும் ஒரே திருச்சபையாக வளர்வதை (காண்க: எபேசியர் 4:3) மட்டுமன்றி, "உலகமனைத்தும்" (மத்தேயு 24:14) ஒன்றுபடுவதையும் குறிக்கின்றது.

கிறித்தவத்தில் ecumenical என்னும் அடைமொழி "பொதுச்சங்கங்கள்" (ecumenical councils), "பொது மறைமுதல்வர்" (ecumenical patriarch) என்னும் சொல்லாக்கங்களிலும் வருகிறது. இங்கே திருச்சபையின் ஒரு பகுதி தொடர்பான நிலையன்றி, அனைத்துல திருச்சபையின் நிலையும் உள்ளடங்குமாறு பொருள்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றது. இப்பொருளில், ஒருநாள் எல்லா திருச்சபைகளும் நிலையான ஒன்றிப்பைக் காண வேண்டும் என்னும் நம்பிக்கை வெளிப்படுகின்றது.

கிறித்தவ ஒன்றிப்பும் பல்சயம உரையாடலும்[தொகு]

கிறித்தவ சபைகள் ஒன்றுபட்டு, கொள்கை, செயல்பாடு, அமைப்புமுறை ஆகியவற்றில் ஒத்த பார்வை கொண்டு, உலகிற்கு கிறித்துவின் நற்செய்தியை அறிவிப்பது கிறித்தவ ஒன்றிப்பின் நோக்கம்.[1]

பல்சமய உரையாடல் என்பது கிறித்தவ ஒன்றிப்பிலிருந்து வேறுபட்டது. உலகில் பரவியிருக்கின்ற பல்வேறு சமயங்களும் தமக்குள்ளே உரையாடலில் ஈடுபட்டு, ஒன்றையொன்று மதித்து, சகிப்புத் தன்மையோடு ஒத்துழைப்பையும் வளர்ப்பது பல்சமய உரையாடலின் குறிக்கோள் ஆகும். இங்கே நல்லுறவும் நல்லிணக்கமும் சமயங்களிடையே வளர்வதற்கான முயற்சி மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.

கிறித்தவ ஒன்றிப்பு இயக்கம்[தொகு]

எல்லாக் கிறித்தவ சபைகளும் தமது வேறுபாடுகளைக் களைந்து ஒரே கொள்கை நோக்கத்தை நோக்கி பயணம் செய்யவும் தமக்குள்ளே ஒத்துழைக்கவும் வேண்டும் என்னும் கருத்து உரோமன் கத்தோலிக்க திருச்சபையால் முன்வைக்கப்பட்டது.[2] இரண்டாம் உலகப் போர் ஐரோப்பாவிலும் உலகிலும் பேரிழப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியதோடு பல மாற்றங்கள் ஏற்படவும் தூண்டுதலாயிற்று. போரின் கொடுமையால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட ஐரோப்பிய மக்களுக்கு கிறித்தவ சபைகள் பெரிதும் உதவி செய்தன.

1948ஆம் ஆண்டு சில புரட்டஸ்தாந்து சபைகள் ஒன்றுகூடி "உலக திருச்சபைகள் குழு" (World Council of Churches) என்ற அமைப்பை உருவாக்கின.[2]

போரினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மானிட இனத்திற்கு எல்லா வகையிலும் உதவி செய்வது கிறித்தவ சபைகளின் கடமை என்பது உணரப்பட்டது. கிறித்தவ சபைகள் தமக்குள்ளே பிளவுபட்டுக் கிடந்தாலும், அவை ஒன்று கூடிவந்து மக்களுக்கு உறுதுணை நல்கவும், உலகில் அமைதியையும் நம்பிக்கையையும் வளர்க்க உதவமும் முடியும் என்ற கருத்து உருவாகியது. கிறித்தவ ஒன்றிப்பு இயக்கம் திருச்சபைகள் உலக அளவில் ஒத்துழைக்க வேண்டும் என்பதை வலியுறுத்தியது.[2]
