ந,ந,ஈ,தி தத்தெடுப்பு (LGBT adoption) என்பது அகனள், உகவர், இருபால், திருநங்கைகள் ( நங்கை, நம்பி, ஈரர், திருனர் ) ஆகிய சமூக மக்களால் குழந்தைகளை தத்தெடுப்பது ஆகும். இது ஒரே பாலின தம்பதியினரின் மற்ற பாலினத்தவரின் உயிரியல் ரீதியிலான குழந்தைகளை தத்தெடுத்தல், அல்லது ஒரு ந,ந,ஈ,தி நபர் தனியாக தத்தெடுத்தல் ஆகிய ஏதேனும் ஒன்றாக இருக்கலாம்.இருபத்தேழு நாடுகளிலும் மற்றும் சார்பு பிரதேசங்களிலும் ஒரே பாலின தம்பதிகளால் மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் தத்தடுத்தல் என்பது சட்டப்பூர்வமானது ஆகும். மேலும், ஐந்து நாடுகளில் ஒரே பாலின தம்பதிகள் மறு தாரக் குழந்தைகளை தத்தெடுப்பது சட்டபூர்வமானதாக உள்ளது.

அரசியலமைப்புகள் மற்றும் சட்டங்கள் பொதுவாக ந,ந,ஈ,தி நபர்களின் தத்தெடுப்பு உரிமைகளை தெளிவுபடுத்த முடியாது என்பதால், நீதித்துறை முடிவுகள் தான் அவர்கள் தனித்தனியாக அல்லது ஜோடிகளாக பெற்றோராக பணியாற்ற முடியுமா என்பதை தீர்மானிக்கின்றன.

ந,ந,ஈ,தி தத்தெடுப்பதை எதிர்ப்பவர்கள் ந,ந,ஈ,தி பெற்றோரின் வளர்ப்பு முறைகள் குழந்தைகளை மோசமாக பாதிக்கிறது என்று கூறுகின்றனர். இருப்பினும், அறிவியல் ஆராய்ச்சி முடிவுகள் மற்ற பெற்றோரைப் போலவே ஓரினச்சேர்க்கையாளர் மற்றும் திருநங்கை பெற்றோர்களும் குழந்தை வளார்ப்பில் தகுதியும் திறனும் உடையவர்கள் என்பதை காட்டுகின்றன, மேலும் அவர்களின் குழந்தைகள் உளவியல் ரீதியாக ஆரோக்கியமானவர்களாகவும், மற்ற பெற்றோர்களால் வளர்க்கப்பட்டவர்களைப் போல சமூகத்தில் அனுசரித்துப் போகும் திறனைப் பெற்றுள்ளனர் என்றும் கூறுகிறது. ந,ந,ஈ,தி பெற்றோர் தத்தெடுத்தல் தொடர்பான ஆய்வில் அவர்கள் பெரும்பாலும் தங்கள் அசல் குடும்பம் மற்றும் தங்களது குடும்பங்களோடு தொடர்பில்லாத குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த குழந்தைகளைத் தத்தெடுத்தல் எனும் வேறுபாட்டினை உணரவில்லை என்று கூறுகிறது. இது ந,ந,ஈ,தி பெற்றோர்கள் குழந்தைத் தத்தெடுத்தலுக்கு எதிரானவர்களின் கருத்திற்கு வலு சேர்க்கும் வகையில் அமைகிறது. ந,ந,ஈ,தி மக்களால் குழந்தைகளை தத்தெடுப்பது ஒரு விவாதத்திற்குரிய பிரச்சினையாக உள்ளது. உதாரணமாக, அமெரிக்காவில், ந,ந,ஈ,தி மக்கள் தத்தெடுப்பைத் தடுக்கும் சட்டம் பல அதிகார வரம்புகளில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது; இத்தகைய முயற்சிகள் பெரும்பாலும் தோற்கடிக்கப்பட்டன. 1973 க்கு முன்பு, மாநில நீதிமன்றங்கள் பொதுவாக ஓரினச்சேர்க்கையாளர்கள் மற்றும் திருநங்கை தத்த்டுத்தல் மூலம் குழந்தை வளர்ப்பு என்பதனை தடை செய்துள்ளது.
