முத்துராஜா நாயுடு (Muthuraja Naidu) அல்லது முத்திரிய நாயுடு (Muthiriya Naidu) இனத்தவர்கள் செங்கல்பட்டு, சென்னை, தென்னாற்காடு, வடாற்காடு ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களில் அதிக அளவில் வசிக்கின்றனர் [1] [2] . தமிழகத்தில் வசிக்கும் முத்துராஜா இனத்தவர்கள் தெலுங்கு மொழியை தாய் மொழியாகக் கொண்டவர்கள் [3] [4][5] [6] [7][8] [9][10] [11] .தமிழகத்தில் வசிக்கும் தெலுங்கு பேசும் முத்துராஜா இனத்தவர்கள் தங்களை நாயுடு அல்லது நாயக்கர் என்றே அழைக்கின்றனர்[12] [13] [14][15] .கவரா மற்றும் பலிஜா இனத்தின் உட்பிரிவினராக கருதப்படுகின்றனர் [16] [17][18] . தெலுங்கு பேசும் முத்துராஜா இனத்தவர்கள் விஜயநகர பேரரசில்  படை வீரர்கள் இருந்த இவர்கள் தமிழகத்தில் நாயக்கர் ஆட்சி காலத்தில் ஆந்திராவில் இருந்து தமிழகம் வந்தனர்[19][20][21] தெலுங்கு பேசும் முத்துராச்சா இனத்தவர்களுக்கு விஜயநகரப் பேரரசு மன்னர்கள் பாளையக்காரன் என்ற பட்டத்தை வழங்கினார்கள்[22] [23] [24] இவர்கள் தங்களை பாளையக்கார நாயக்கர் என்றும் அழைக்கின்றனர் .மேலும் தாங்கள் வீரபாண்டிய கட்டபொம்மன் மரபில் வந்தவர்கள் என கூறுகின்றனர் [25] [26][27] .முத்துராஜா இனத்தின் உட்பிரிவான பாளையக்கார நாயக்கர்களும் தெலுங்கு இனத்தை சேர்ந்தவர்களே[28][29] . தமிழ்நாடு சாதிகள் பட்டியலில் பிற்படுத்தப்பட்டோரில் பிரிவு முத்துராசா, முத்துராச்சா ,முத்திரியர், முத்தரையர் உள்ளனர் [30]. தெலுங்கு மொழியை தாய் மொழியாகக் கொண்ட இவர்களுக்கு முத்துராசா (muthuraja) , முத்துராச்சா (Muthuracha) என்ற பெயரில் சாதி சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்படுகிறது[31] [32] .முத்துராஜா சமூகத்தினர் தெலுங்கு இனத்தின் பூர்வகுடிகள் ஆவார் [33] [34]. ஆந்திராவில் காப்பு இனத்தவரும் , முத்துராஜா இனத்தவரும் ஒரே இனமாக கருதப்படுகின்றனர் [35] [36]. முத்துராஜா இனத்தவர்கள் ஆந்திராவில் கிருஷ்ணா  , நெல்லூர் , குண்டூர் , கடப்பா மிக பெரும்பான்மையாக வசிக்கின்றனர் [37] [38] [39]
