கே. கண்ணையன்
கே. கண்ணையன் (K. Kannaiyan) இந்திய அரசியல்வாதி மற்றும் தமிழக முன்னாள் சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் ஆவார்.
இவர் 1989 [1] மற்றும் 1996 தேர்தல்களில் தொட்டியம் தொகுதியிலிருந்து திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தின் சார்பில் போட்டியிட்டு தமிழக சட்டமன்றத்திற்குத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார்.[2] 2001ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற தேர்தலில் அனைத்திந்திய அண்ணா திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழக வேட்பாளர் பி.அன்னாவியிடம் தோல்வியடைந்தார்.[3] 1991ஆம் ஆண்டிலும் போட்டியிட்ட இவர் அதிமுகவின் என்.ஆர்.சிவபதியிடம் தோல்வியுற்றார்.[4]
கண்ணையன் 2006 தேர்தலில் தொட்டியம் தொகுதியில் சுயேச்சையாகப் போட்டியிட்டு மூன்றாவது இடத்தினைப் பிடித்தார்.[5] ஜனநாயக முற்போக்குக் கூட்டணியின் பகுதியாக, ஏற்பட்ட தேர்தல் ஒப்பந்தத்தின் விளைவாக ஏற்பட்ட கருத்து வேறுபாட்டால் சுயேட்சையாகப் போட்டியிட்டார். முசிறி தொகுதியிலும் 2011 தேர்தலில் சுயேட்டையாக போட்டியிட்டு மூன்றாம் இடத்தினைப் பிடித்தார்.[6]
கண்ணையனுக்கு கே.சுசீலா என்ற மனைவியும், ஒரு மகளும் உள்ளனர்.[7]
