அகோகோதே - 46 என்பது 1,210 ஒளியாண்டுகள் (370 புடைநொடிகள்) தொலைவில் உள்ள ஒரு G - வகை முதன்மை வரிசை விண்மீனாகும். இந்த விண்மீன் சூரியனை விட பழமையானது. சூரிய ஒளியுடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது சூரியனில் 45% அளவு மட்டுமே அடர்தனிமங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. மேம்பட்ட வயது இருந்தபோதிலும், ஒரு மாபெரும் கோளின் நெருக்கமான வட்டணையில் உயர் ஓதங்களால் விண்மீன் வேகமாக சுழல்கிறது.

இந்த விண்மீன் கரும்புள்ளிச் செயல்பாட்டுடன் தொடர்புடைய அதிகப்படியான புற ஊதாக் கதிர்வீச்சை உமிழ்கிறது.[6] , மேலும் இது தூசி மற்றும் குப்பைகளால் சூழப்பட்டிருக்கலாம் என்று கருதப்படுகிறது.[7]

2011 ஆண்டில் , ஒரு சூடான மீவியாழன் கோளான அகோகோதே - 46 பி கடப்பது கண்டறியப்பட்டது. [8] இதன்சமனிலை வெப்பநிலை 1636 ±44 கெ. ஆகும். 2014 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அளவிடப்பட்ட பகல்நேர வெப்பநிலை 2386 கெ. ஆகும். இது இந்தக் கோள் முழுவதும் மிகவும் மோசமான மீள்பகிர்வைக் குறிக்கிறது. 2020 ஆம் ஆண்டில் பகல்நேர கோளின் வெப்பநிலையை மறு அளவீடு செய்ததன் விளைவாக 1870+130
−120 கெ.எனும் குறைந்த வெப்பநிலை மதிப்பு கிடைத்தது.[9] A re-measurement of the dayside planetary temperature in 2020 resulted in a lower value of 1870+130
−120 K.[10]
