மாயா ஏஞ்சலோ (Maya Angelou, /ˈændʒəloʊ/ (ⓘ) AN-jə-loh;[1][2] பிறப்பு மார்குரைட் ஆனி சான்சன் (Marguerite Annie Johnson); ஏப்ரல் 4, 1928 – மே 28, 2014) ஒரு அமெரிக்கப் பெண் எழுத்தாளர். கவிஞர், நடிகை, நர்த்தகி, பாடகி, நாடகாசிரியர், பாடலாசிரியர், நாடகத்தயாரிப்பாளர், திரைப்படத்தயாரிப்பாளர், இயக்குநர், குடிமை உரிமைப் போராளி. இவர் இனவெறிக்கு எதிராகத் தனது வாழ்நாள் முழுக்கப் போராடியவர். இவர் திரைப்படத் துறையிலும் பணி புரிந்திருக்கிறார். ஆறிற்கும் அதிகமான மொழிகளில் தேர்ச்சி கண்டவர். அமெரிக்கப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பணிபுரிந்துள்ளதோடு, எகிப்து, கானா நாட்டுப் பத்திரிகைகளின் ஆசிரியராகவும் கடமையாற்றியுள்ளார். எந்தவொரு பல்கலைக்கழகத்திலும் கற்றில்லாத போதிலும் கூட, உலகம் முழுவதிலுமுள்ள முப்பதிற்கும் அதிகமான பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் இவருக்கு கௌரவப் பட்டங்களை வழங்கி கௌரவித்திருக்கின்றன.
