பின்னை உரோமானியக் காலத்தில், பிரித்தனியாவைப் பொறுத்தவரையில், ஒய் ஒருமைப் பண்புக்குழுசார் எல்1ஏ குறிப்பான் அமைந்த ஆங்கிலோ சாக்சானியரோடு உறவுள்ள செருமானியர் கிழக்கு இங்கிலாதுக்குப் புலம்பெயர்ந்துள்ளமையை சிலர் முன்மொழிகின்றனர். ஆர்1ஏ குறிப்பன் அமைந்த நார்சு மக்கள் வட இசுகாட்லாந்துக்குப் புலம்பெயர்ந்துள்ளனர்.^[10]
