விவேக் கணபதி ராமசாமி (Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy)[1][2] பிறப்பு:9 ஆகஸ்டு 1985), ஐக்கிய அமெரிக்காவின் தொழிலதிபரும், எழுத்தாரும், அரசியல்வாதியும் ஆவார். இவர் 2104ல் ரோய்வண்ட் அறிவியல்கள் எனும் மருந்து உற்பத்தி நிறுவனத்தைத் துவக்கி நடத்தினார். பிப்ரவரி 2023ல் விவேக் ராமசாமி 2024 அமெரிக்க அதிபர் தேர்தலில், குடியரசுக் கட்சியின் சார்பில் வேட்பாளராகத் தன்னை அறிவித்துக் கொண்டார்.[3][4]

இளமை & கல்வி[தொகு]

இந்து சமயத்தைச் சேர்ந்த வி. கணபதி ராமசாமி-கீதா எனும் இந்தியப் பெற்றோருக்கு, ஐக்கிய் அமெரிக்காவின் ஒகையோ மாநிலத்தின் சின்சினாட்டி நகரத்தில் 9 ஆகஸ்டு 1985 அன்று விவேக் பிறந்தார்.[5][6][7][8][9]தமிழ் மொழி பேசும் இவரது பெற்றோர் கேரளாவின் பாலக்காடு அந்தணர் சமூகத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள்.[5][10][11] இவரது தந்தை வி. கணபதி ராமசாமி, கோழிக்கோடு தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனத்தில் படித்து பட்டம் பெற்றவர். பின்னர் ஐக்கிய அமெரிக்காவின் ஜெனரல் எலக்ட்ரிக் நிறுவனத்தில் பணியில் சேர்ந்தார். இவராது தாய் கீதா மைசூர் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரியில் மூத்தகுடி மக்களுக்கான உளவியல் படிப்பில் பட்டம் பெற்றவர்.[12]

இவரது பெற்றோர் கேரளாவில் சொந்த ஊரான திருச்சூர் மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள வடக்காஞ்சேரி அக்ரகாரத்திலிருந்து பாலக்காடு மாவட்டத்திற்கு குடியேறியவர்கள்.[13][14]

விவேக் ராமசாமி ஒகையோவில் உள்ளூர் பள்ளிக்கூடத்தில் படித்து வளர்ந்தார்.[15][16] 2003ல் ஆர்வர்டு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இளங்கலை பட்டம் பெற்றார்.[17] பின்னர் கோல்ட்மேன் சாக்ஸ் போன்ற நிதி நிறுவனங்களில் பணிபுரிந்தார். 2011ல் முதுநிலை படிப்பை முடித்தார்.[18] 2013ல் யேல் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் சட்டப் படிப்பை முடித்தார்.[19]

2014ல் விவேக் ராமசாமி ரோய்வண்ட் அறிவியல்கள் எனும் மருந்துகள் உற்பத்தி நிறுவனத்தை நிறுவி பெருந்தொகை ஈட்டினார். 2017ல் தான் நிறுவிய நிறுவனத்தை $ 175 மில்லியன் டாலர் மூலதன ஆதாயத்துடன் விற்றார்.

2023ல் விவேக் ராமசாமி பங்குதாரர்கள் சேவை நிறுவனத்தை துவக்கினார். இதனால் விவேக் ராமசாமியின் வருமானம் $750 மில்லியன் டாலராக உயர்ந்தது.
