பெரும் துப்புரவாக்கம்

பெரும் துப்புரவாக்கத்தின் போது மாஸ்கோ நகர் அருகே புட்டோவோ துப்பாக்கிப் பயிற்சிக் களத்தின் அருகே சுட்டுக்கொல்லப்பட்ட ஆள்களின் ஒளிப்படங்களைக் கொண்ட நினைவுச் சின்னத்தின் ஒரு பகுதி. பலியானோர் கைதுசெய்யப்பட்டதும் அவர்களது ஒளிப்படம் எடுக்கப்பட்டது.

பெரும் துப்புரவாக்கம் (Great Purge) என்பது சோவியத் ஒன்றியப் பொதுவுடைமைக் கட்சியின் மத்தியக் குழுச் செயலராக முழு அதிகாரம் செலுத்திய ஜோசப் ஸ்டாலின் 1937-1938 ஆண்டுகளில் வன்முறையைக் கையாண்டு அரசியல் எதிரிகளை அடக்கிக் கொன்று தன் அதிகாரத்தை நிலைநிறுத்த கையாண்ட செயலைக் குறிக்கிறது.

பயங்கரவாத நடவடிக்கைகள்

பெரும் துப்புரவாக்கத்தின்போது கீழ்வரும் பயங்கரவாத நடவடிக்கைகள் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டன:

• பொதுவுடைமைக் கட்சியையும் அரசையும் சார்ந்த எண்ணிறந்த அதிகாரிகள் பதவியிலிருந்து நீக்கப்பட்டு கொல்லப்பட்டனர்.
• குடியானவர்கள் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டனர்.
• சிவப்புப் படையினர் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்ட செஞ்சேனையின் தலைவர்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டனர்.
• எந்த அமைப்பையும் சாராத சாதாரண மக்களை அரசு காவல்துறையினர் சந்தேகக் கண்களோடு நோக்கி, அவர்கள் ஆட்சியைக் கவிழ்க்க சதிசெய்தார்கள் என்று கூறி அவர்கள்மீது குற்றம் சாட்டி, விசாரணை இன்றிச் சித்திரவதை செய்து கொலை செய்தனர்.

பெரும் துப்புரவாக்கத்தின் வேறு பெயர்கள்

1937-1938 ஆண்டுகளில் சோவியத் யூனியனில் ஸ்டாலின் ஆட்சியின்போது நிகழ்ந்த ஒடுக்குமுறையை உருசிய வரலாற்றாசிரியர்கள் "யேஷோவ்ச்சீனா" (உருசியம்: ежовщина) என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றனர். அதற்கு "யேஷோவ் ஆட்சி" என்று பொருள். அதாவது, அந்த ஒடுக்குமுறை நடந்த காலத்தில் சோவியத் இரகசியக் காவல்துறைக்குத் (NKVD) தலைவராக இருந்தவர் நிக்கோலாய் யேஷோவ் ஆவார்.

பெரும் துப்புரவாக்கத்தின் வரலாற்றை நூலாக வடித்த இராபர்ட் காண்குவெஸ்ட் (Robert Conquest) என்பவர் தாம் 1968இல் எழுதி வெளியிட்ட நூலுக்கு "பெரும் பயங்கரம்" (The Great Terror) என்று பெயர் கொடுத்தார். அதிலிருந்து, பெரும் துப்புரவாக்கம் மேலைநாடுகளில் "பெரும் பயங்கரம்" என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

பிரெஞ்சுப் புரட்சியின் காலம் "பயங்கரத்தின் காலம்" (period of terror) என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டதையும் கருத்தில் கொண்டே மேற்கூறிய "பெரும் பயங்கரம்" என்னும் பெயர் வழங்கப்படலாயிற்று.

ஸ்டாலினின் அடக்குமுறைக்குப் பலியான கிரிகொரி சீனோவியேவ் உரையாற்றுதல். இவர் ஒருகாலத்தில் சோவியத் ஒன்றியப் பொதுவுடைமைக் கட்சியில் பெயர்பெற்ற தலைவராக இருந்தவர்.

1935 நவம்பரில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட இப்படத்தில் சோவியத் யூனியனின் உச்ச இராணுவ அதிகாரிகள் (மார்ஷல்கள்) உள்ளனர். இவர்களுள் மூவர் ஸ்டாலின் ஆணைப்படி பெரும் துப்புரவாக்கத்தின்போது கொல்லப்பட்டனர்.

1938இல் சோவியத் கவிஞர் ஓசிப் மாண்டல்ஸ்டாம். இவர் இரகசியக் காவல்துறையால் கைதுசெய்யப்பட்டு, காவலில் இறந்தார். கொலைசெய்யப்பட்டிருக்கலாம் என்று கருதப்படுகிறது.

புகழ்பெற்ற எழுத்தாளர் ஐசக் பாபேல் காவல்துறையால் கைதுசெய்யப்பட்டார்.

மங்கோலியாவின் ஊலான் பாட்டோர் பகுதியில் நடந்த அடக்குமுறைக்குப் பலியானோர் நினைவாக எழுப்பப்பட்ட சின்னம்.

புகழ்பெற்ற இந்த ஒளிப்படத்தில் ஸ்டாலின், இரகசியக் காவல்துறைத் தலைவர் நிக்கோலாய் யேஷோவ், வோரோஷிலோவ், மோலோட்டோவ் ஆகியோர் உள்ளனர். அவர்கள் நால்வரும் வெண்கடல் கால்வாயைப் பார்வையிடுகின்றனர்.

இந்த இரண்டாம் ஒளிப்படத்தில் யேஷோவ் "துப்புரவாக்கப்பட்டார்." அவர் இருந்த இடத்தில் கால்வாய் மதிலும் நீரோட்டமும் நீட்சிபெறுகின்றன. ஸ்டாலினின் ஆணைப்படி யேஷோவ் கொல்லப்பட்டார்.
