பால் செசான்
பால் செசான் (IPA: [pɔl se'zan] ஜனவரி 19, 1839;அக்டோபர் 22,1906 ) பிரெஞ்சு ஓவியர். இவர் பின் உணர்வுபதிவிய ஓவியர்களுள் ஒருவர். 19 ஆம் நூற்றண்டு ஓவியப் படைப்புக் கருவுருக்களில் இருந்து முற்றிலும் மாறுபட்ட புதிய கூறுகளில் அமைந்த 20 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டு ஓவியக் கலை உலகிற்கு நகருவதில் பங்களித்தவர்களில் ஒருவராகக் கருதப்படுகிறார். 19 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் உணர்வுப்பதிவு நோக்கிர்கும் 20 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் புதிய கலை தேடுதல்கள், கியூபிசம் முதலியவற்ரோடு இணைப்பு ஏற்படுத்தியவர். மாட்டிஸ்ஸே, பாப்லோ பிக்காசோ ஆகிய இருவரின் கூற்றாகிய "செசான் எங்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் தந்தை" என்பதில் அதிகம் உண்மை இருப்பதாக நினைக்கிறார்கள்.
