தொடர் (தாவரவியல்)

தாவரவியல் மற்றும் தாவர வகைப்பாட்டியலில், தொடர் (Series)என்பது ஒரு பேரினத்தின் உட்பிரிவுகளுள் ஒன்றாகும். இது பெயரீட்டுத் தரநிலையில் பிரிவிற்குக் கீழ் நிலையிலும் (மற்றும் துணைப்பிரிவு) சிற்றினத்திற்கு மேல் நிலையிலும் உள்ளது.^[1] சாய்ந்த எழுத்துக்கள் பிரிவுகள் மற்றும்/அல்லது தொடர்கள் பொதுவாக மிகப் பெரிய பேரினங்களை ஒழுங்கமைக்க உதவுகின்றன. இப்பேரினங்கள் நூற்றுக்கணக்கான சிற்றினங்களைக் கொண்டிருக்கலாம்.

சாகுபடி சந்தைப்படுத்தல்[தொகு]

"தொடர்" என்ற சொல் பயிரிடும்வகை குழுக்களுக்கு (விதை சந்தையில்) பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. ஆனால் இந்த வார்த்தைக்குப் பயிரிடப்படும் தாவரங்களுக்கான அனைத்துலக பெயரிடல் முறைமைக் குறியீடுகளின்படி முறையான அங்கீகாரம் இல்லை.^[2]
