My solar panel testing without sunlight.

1. I bought a 50w panel and installed in the hall. I just placed the panel on a table.

2. To start with I focused light from a 60 W incandescent bulb. This I am running from EB current.

3. I bought a solar charge controller and a battery of 12v ...8.1ah.

4. I connected the panel and battery to the charge controller.

5. The charging icon started blinking meaning the panel is charging the battery.

6. On the output side I connected a 12 w led bulb. It worked. Then I connected a 12v dc fan. It also worked but the battery was discharging quickly.

7. Now my focus was to burn the incandescent bulb as given in point no (2) also from the generation. The head light bulb of a two wheeler was our choice. When I connected this load the outcome was fantastic. I switched of the bulb running from EB.

8. The panel is producing electricity from the head light bulb which is also consuming power from its own production.

No sunlight.only light from the bulb. I came to know that the 50 w panel can output only around 40 w and majorly being consumed by the bulb. Thinking of increasing the panel wattage.

So far I am happy to say that without sunlight I was able to generate power all 24 hrs a day.
