வர்த்தக கரைப்பான்கள் நிறுமம் (Commercial Solvents Corporation) என்பது ஓர் அமெரிக்க இரசாயன மற்றும் உயிரி தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனமாகும். 1919 ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்நிறுவனம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.

வரலாறு[தொகு]

வணிக கரைப்பான்கள் நிறுவனம் முதலாம் உலகப் போரின் முடிவில் நிறுவப்பட்டது. முனைவர் சைம் வெய்சுமேன் உருவாக்கி காப்புரிமை பெற்ற நொதித்தல் செயல்முறைகளால் அசிட்டோன் மற்றும் பியூட்டனால் கரைப்பான்களை இந்நிறுமம் தயாரித்தது. இக்கரைப்பான்களின் முன்னோடி தயாரிப்பாளர் என்ற சிறப்பு வர்த்தக கரைப்பான்கள் நிறுமத்திற்கு உரியதாகும். அமெரிக்காவின் இந்தியானா மாநிலத்திலுள்ள டெர்ரே ஆவுட் நகரம் வர்த்தக கரைப்பான்கள் நிறுமத்தின் ஆராய்ச்சித் தளமாக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டது. இங்கிருந்து புதிய செயல்முறைகள் மூலம் முழுமையான உற்பத்தியை விரைவாக உற்பத்தி செய்ய முடிந்தது.^[1]^[2]

1917 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதலாகவே இந்நிறுமம் இந்தியானாவின் டெர்ரே ஆவுட் நகரில் செயல்படத் தொடங்கியது. இது சோளம் மற்றும் பிற தானியங்களை நொதித்தல் மூலம் எத்தனாலாக உருவாக்கியது. பின்னர் நுண்ணுயிர் நடவடிக்கை மூலம் பி வைட்டமின்களில் ஒன்றான ரைபோஃப்ளேவினை தயாரித்தது.^[3]
