வடக்கின் மாபெரும் சமர் (Battle of the North) என்பது இலங்கையின் வடக்கே யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள யாழ்ப்பாணம் மத்திய கல்லூரி, பரி யோவான் கல்லூரி ஆகிய பாடசாலைகளுக்கிடையே ஆண்டுதோறும் நடைபெறும் 3-நாள் துடுப்பாட்டப் போட்டி ஆகும்.[1][2] இப்பாடசாலைகளுக்கிடையே 1904 ஆம் ஆண்டில் முதலாவது போட்டி இடம்பெற்றது. இப்போட்டிகள் "நீலங்களின் சமர்" (Battle of the Blues) எனவும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.[3][4][5]
