Carefully review the revisions of the media, extracting clearly different medias to separate files (under distinct names)
Upload the extracted files. Directly upload split files under a free license to Wikimedia Commons. (Non-free files must remain on Wikipedia.) Please make sure appropriate {{Information}} (for free images) or {{Non-free media rationale}} (for non-free images) are added. Upon uploading to Commons, please affix a link to diff of the revision upload.
Once all relevant revisions have been extracted, please place {{Split media - processed|name of the new file without "File:" prefix}} on this file and remove this tag. An administrator will delete the split revisions.
