Livingstonite is a very rare mercury, antimony sulfosalt and this rich and showy specimen hails from the Type Locality - Huitzuco, Guerrero, Mexico. Bright, steel-metallic livingstonite lathes to 1.2 cm are scattered on the rich antimony (stibnite) ore. Older material very seldom available on the market. Ex. Mullane Collection. We have not seen any of this material in over 5-6 years. It is a very rare specimen with superb crystals for the material.
