mbchandar thank you for removing our images. i disagree with the below statement you have given.

these are two different issues. 1. whether you allowed our activity of adding external links to the wiki (as other sites have done, but u r saying that we are spamming), we would have requested you to take down the images off the site. you have never asked the permission from us. we made the request because we have an agreement with publishers. we do not own any rights to distribute or display book covers anywhere other than chennaishopping.com. All those images are scanned by us and we did work on it with the permission from publisher. you cannot get the book cover images easily. 2. I agree with your talk abt adding external links relevant to the topic to our buy now pages. hence we have not done anything like that after we spoke over the gtalk chat.

. you have never asked the permission from us. - i have made it clear that both indian and american copyright laws dont require any permission from either the copyright holder or the distributor for usage like this. It is called the fair use clause and allows anyone to use a low resolution image to identify the subject in question. We are under no legal obligation to take anything down. (check with your lawyers if you wish). I have obliged you despite of this, because we are being polite.
