குமன்கள்
குமன்கள் (Cumans)[1] என்பவர்கள் ஒரு துருக்கிய[2][3][4][5] நாடோடி மக்கள் ஆவர். இவர்கள் குமன்-கிப்சாக் கூட்டமைப்பின் மேற்கு பகுதியாக இருந்தனர். 1237இல் ஏற்பட்ட மங்கோலிய படையெடுப்புக்குப் பின்னர் பல குமன்கள் அங்கேரி இராச்சியத்தில் புகலிடம் பெற்றனர். மேலும் குமன்கள் இரண்டாம் பல்கேரியப் பேரரசையும் அமைத்தனர்.
குமன் மொழியானது சில நடுக்கால நூல்களில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆரம்ப துருக்கிய மொழிகளில் நன்கு அறியப்பட்டதாக குமன் மொழி உள்ளது.[6]

குமன்கள் தெங்கிரி மதத்தின் ஒரு பிரிவான ஷாமன் மதத்தைப் பின்பற்றினர். மூதாதையர்களை வழிபட்டனர்.
கோடெக்சு குமனிகசு[தொகு]
கோடெக்சு குமனிகசு என்பது இத்தாலிய வணிகர்கள் மற்றும் செருமானிய மதத்தூதுவர்களால் 1294 மற்றும் 1356க்கு இடையே எழுதப்பட்ட ஒரு விளக்கப் புத்தகம் ஆகும்.[7] இது குமன்களுடன் தொடர்புகொள்ள பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது.[8]
