இராஜ்குமாரி இரத்னாவதி பெண்கள் பள்ளி (Rajkumari Ratnavati Girl's School) என்பது வட இந்தியாவில் உள்ள ஜெய்சால்மரின் கிராமப்புற தார் பாலைவனத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு பெண்கள் பள்ளி ஆகும். இந்தப் பள்ளியானது 50 செண்டிகிரேடு செல்சியசு வெப்பநிலையைத் தாங்கும் வகையில் முட்டை வடிவில் கட்டிடக் கலைஞர்கள் வடிவமைத்திருப்பது இப்பள்ளியின் தனிச்சிறப்பு.[1] இப்பள்ளியில் மழலையர் பள்ளி முதல் பத்தாம் வகுப்பு வரை சுமார் 400 பெண்கள் படிக்கின்றார். பெண்களுக்கான கலைத்திறன், நெசவு, பூத்தையல் போன்ற பாரம்பரிய திறன் தொகுப்புகளில் கல்வி மற்றும் பயிற்சி அளிப்பதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. உள்ளூர் கட்டிடக் கலைஞர்களால் மணற்கற்ளைக் கொண்டு இப்பள்ளி கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. இராஜ்குமாரி இரத்னாவதி பெண்கள் பள்ளி நியூயார்க்கை தளமாகக் கொண்ட டயானா கெல்லாக் கட்டிடக் கலை நிறுவனத்தினால் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
வரலாறு[தொகு]
ஜெய்சால்மர் இளவரசி "இரத்னாவதி" நினைவாக இந்தப் பள்ளிக்குப் பெயரிடப்பட்டது. இவர் மகாராவல் ரத்தன் சிங்கின் மகள் ஆவார்.[8]
பள்ளிச் சீருடை[தொகு]
சப்யசாச்சி முகர்ஜி பள்ளிச் சீருடையை அஜ்ரக் எனப்படும் உள்ளூர் அச்சித் தொழில்நுட்பத்தினைப் பயன்படுத்தி வடிவமைத்துள்ளார்.[6][9]
கட்டிடக்கலை[தொகு]
இந்த பள்ளி ஜெய்சால்மரின் கிராமப்புற பகுதியில், கானோய் கிராமத்திற்கு அருகில் அமைந்துள்ளது. இது ஒரு சிறப்பான கட்டிடக்கலையின் மூலம் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பாலைவனத்தின் நடுவில் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் முட்டை வடிவ அமைப்பு இதுவாகும்.[10] பள்ளியின் முட்டை வடிவம் பெண்களின் வலிமையைக் குறிப்பதாக உள்ளது.
கட்டிட பொருள்[தொகு]
உள்ளூர் கட்டிடக்கலைஞர்களால் மஞ்சள் மணற்கற்களால் இந்தப் பள்ளி கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. கடும் வெப்பம் நிலவும் இப்பகுதியில் குளூட்ட வசதி தேவையில்லாத வகையில் கட்டிடம் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.[1][11]
கட்டிடம்[தொகு]
"கியான் மையம்" என்று அழைக்கப்படும் வளாகத்தில் உள்ள மூன்று கட்டிடங்களில் பள்ளியும் ஒன்றாகும்.
- மேதா மண்டபம்-மேதா மண்டபம் என்பது நூலகம் மற்றும் அருங்காட்சியகத்திற்காக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட பகுதி. இங்குத் துணி போன்ற உள்ளூர் கைவினைப்பொருள் கண்காட்சிகளுக்கான இடமாகும். பெண்கள் உள்ளூர் நெசவு மற்றும் பூத்தையல் நுட்பங்களை இங்குக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம்.[12][13][14]

A revolution that had been quietly brewing for the last few years, Gyaan Center is a project of the Citta Foundation, spearheaded by American artist Michael Daube. A marvelous piece of architecture designed by New York-based architect Diana Kellogg and built around a stone structured palace donated by the Jaisalmer royal family, the center houses not just The Rajkumari Ratnavati School for girls but also a women's cooperative that aims to empower the women of the region through craft employment and enhance gender parity in the region. A project wholly supported by Chaitanya and Raseshwari, who even donated the land it is built on, Gyaan Center by Citta Foundation is an architectural marvel. Its oval form is meant to reflect the curvilinear shapes of the local forts and the universal symbols of female strength.
