ஆல்பா ஔரிகா

A size comparison of the four stars in the Capella system and the Sun.

ஆல்பா ஔரிகா என அழைக்கப்படும் காபெல்லா மிகப் பிரகாசமான மஞ்சள் நிறங் கொண்ட தோற்ற ஒளிப்பொலிவெண் 0.09 உடைய ஒரு விண்மீன். விண்ணில் தெரியும் 6 வது பிரகாசமான விண்மீன். காபெல்லா பற்றி அதிகம் அறியப்படாத காலத்தில் இது சூரியனின் நகல் என நினைத்தனர். இதற்குக் காரணம் இதன் நிறமும்,புற வெப்ப நிலையம்,சூரியனைப் போலவே இருந்ததுதான். இந்த ஒற்றுமையைத் தவிர வேறு எந்தப் பண்பும் இணையாக இல்லை. உண்மையில் காபெல்லா சூரியனிலிருந்து முற்றிலும் வேறுபட்ட ஒரு விண்மீன் 42 ஒளி ஆண்டுகள் தொலைவிலுள்ள காபெல்லா உண்மையில் மிக நெருக்கமாக அமைந்துள்ள மஞ்சள் நிறங்கொண்ட இரட்டைப் பெரு விண்மீன்களாகும் இதில் காபெல்லா என்ற முதன்மை விண்மீன் 4.2 சூரிய நிறையுடன் சூரியனின் விட்டத்தைப் போல 12 மடங்கு விட்டத்துடன் உள்ளது .சூரியனை விட 8 மடங்கு பிரகாசமிக்கது .காபெல்லா பி என்ற துணை விண்மீன் 3.3 சூரிய நிறையுடன் சூரியனின் விட்டத்தைப் போல 7 மடங்கு விட்டத்துடன் சூரியனை விட 50 மடங்கு பிரகாசத்துடன் காணப்படுகின்றது இவ்விரு பெரு விண்மீன்களுக்கும் இடைப்பட்ட தொலைவு ஏறக்குறைய பூமியின் சுற்றுப் பாதையின் ஆரத்திற்குச் சமமானது. இரண்டும் சூரியனைப் போல ஜி வகை விண்மீனாகவும் ஒத்த புறப் பரப்பு வெப்ப நிலையும் பெற்றுள்ளன.

காபெல்லாவில் உள்ள இரு விண்மீன்களுக்கும் இடைப்பட்ட கோண இடைவெளியில் 0.05 வினாடிகள் (1 வினாடி என்பது ஒரு டிகிரி கோணத்தில் 3600 ல் ஒரு பங்கு).இது மிகப் பெரிய தொலை நோக்கியின் பகுதிறனின் வரம்பின் எல்லையில் இருப்பதால் இதைச் சாதாரணமாகப் பகுத்தறிவது கடினம். எனினும் நிறமாலைப் பகுப்பாய்வு ,காபெல்லாவின் இரட்டை விண்மீன்களைத் தெளிவாகச் சுட்டிக் காட்டுகின்றது. நிறமாலையில் காணப்படும் அலைவு கால முறைப்படியான பெயர்ச்சியைக் கொண்டு இதில் ஒரு விண்மீன் மற்றொன்றை 104 நாட்களுக்கு ஒரு முறை சுற்றி வருகின்றது என அறிந்துள்ளனர்.

காபெல்லா ஒரு எக்ஸ் கதிர் மூலமாக உள்ளது. சூரியனின் புறப் பரப்பில் காணப் படுவதைப் போல ஒரு காந்தப் புல இடை வினைகள் இதற்குக் காரணமாக இருக்கலாம் என ஊகித்துள்ளனர். பெரிய வானத் தொலை நோக்கி மூலம் காபெல்லாவை ஆராய்ந்த போது அது நான்கு விண்மீன்களின் தொகுப்பு எனத் தெரிந்தது. பெருமஞ்சள் இரட்டை விண்மீன்களைச் சுற்றி 0.2 ஒளி ஆண்டுகள் தொலைவில் ஒரு சிறிய சிவப்பு இரட்டை விண்மீன் வலம் வருகிறது. இவற்றின் நிறை முறையே 0.4 சூரிய நிறை, 0.1 சூரிய நிறையாக உள்ளன.

வரலாறு

இந்த வட்டார விண்மீன் கூட்டம் பெர்சியசுக்கும் அர்சா மேஜருக்கும் நடுவில் அமைந்துள்ளது.இது குதிரை பூட்டிய தேரின் தேரோட்டியாகக்(Charioteer) கற்பனை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.கிரேக்க புராணத்தின் படி இது ஏதென்ஸ் நாட்டின் அரசனான எரிதொனியஸ்(Erichthonius) என்பவனைக் குறிக்கின்றது. எனினும் புராணத்தில் அவன் விண்வெளியில் இடம் பெற்றதற்கான விளக்கமில்லை. நான்கு குதிரைகள் பூட்டிய தேர் வண்டியைக் கண்டுபிடித்தவன் இவன்.இதைப் பயன்படுத்தி சட்ட விரோதமாக ஆட்சி புரிந்து வந்த ஆம்பிக்ட்யோன்(Amphictyon) என்பவனை போரில் வென்று ஏதென்ஸ் நகருக்கு அரசனானான்.நாட்டிற்கு தன்னை அர்பணித்துக் கொண்டதால் ஜியஸ் கடவுள் அவனைப் பெருமைப் படுத்தும் விதமாக விண்ணில் ஒரு இடம் அளித்ததாக கூறுவார்கள். அவன் வலது கையில் ஓர் ஆடும் இடது கையில் அதன் குட்டியும் உள்ளன. இந்த வட்டாரத்தின் பிரகாசமான விண்மீனான காபெல்லலா ஆட்டை அலங்கரிகின்றது. இலத்தீன் மொழியில் காபெல்லா என்றால் பெண் ஆடு இதன் குட்டி சீட்டா மற்றும் ஈட்டா ஔரிகா விண்மீன்களால் கற்பனை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
