பெலெ(Pelé)என்றழைக்கப்படும் எடிசன் அரன்டெஸ் டொ நாசிமென்டோ[6] (Edison Arantes do Nascimento): பிரேசில் நாட்டின் காற்பந்தாட்ட வீரர். காற்பந்தாட்ட உலகின் முடிசூடா மன்னனாக இன்றும் விளங்குபவர்[7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15] காற்பந்தாட்டத்தை அமெரிக்காவில் பிரபலப் படுத்தியவர்; உலக அமைதிக்கான பரிசு பெற்றவர். 22 ஆண்டு காற்பந்தாட்ட அத்தியாயத்தில் மொத்தம் 1282 கோல்களைப் புகுத்தியவர் பெலே. ஹாட்ரிக் எனப்படும் ஒரே ஆட்டத்தில் தொடர்ந்து மூன்று கோல்கள் போடுவதிலும் உலகச் சாதனையை செய்திருக்கிறார்.[16][17] அவர் கொடுத்த மொத்த ஹாட்ரிக்குகள் 92. மூன்று முறை உலகக் கோப்பையை வென்ற ஒரே காற்பந்தாட்ட வீரர்.[18] காற்பந்தாட்ட உலகின் மிகச் சிறந்த வீரராகக் கருதப்படும் பெலெ 'கருப்பு முத்து' என்று இதழியலாளர்களால் அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்.

இளமை

1940 ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 23 ஆம் தேதி பிரேசிலின் டிரெசு கோரகோயெசு (Tres Coracoes) என்ற பகுதியில் ஓர் ஏழ்மையான குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தார்.[19]) தாமஸ் ஆல்வாஸ் எடிசனின் நினைவாக இவருக்கு எடிசன் என்ற பெயர் சூட்டப்பட்டது.[20][21][22][23] இவரது செல்லப்பெயர்தான் பெலே ஆகும்.[24] அவரது தந்தை தொழில்முறையான காற்பந்தாட்ட வீரராக இருந்தவர்.[22] அவரது முழங்காலில் காயம் ஏற்படவே அவர் காற்பந்தாட்டத்தை விட வேண்டிய நிலை ஏற்பட்டது. பெலேவுக்கு நான்கு வயதானபோது அவரது குடும்பம் பவுரு(Bauru) என்ற பகுதிக்கு குடிபெயர்ந்தது. பெலேயும் அந்த வட்டாரத்தில் வசித்த சிறுவர்களும் காலுறையில் செய்தித்தாள்களையத் திணித்து ஒரு பந்துபோல் செய்து அதனைக்கொண்டு காற்பந்து விளையாடி மகிழ்வர். காலை முதல் மாலை வரை விளையாடுவார்கள். பெலேயின் தந்தையே அவருக்கு காற்பந்தாட்ட நுணுக்கங்களை கற்றுத்தந்தார். காற்பந்து ஆடாத நேரங்களில் பிறரது காலணிகளுக்கு பூச்சிடும் வேலை செய்தார் பெலே.[25]

பெலேயின் திறமை பவுரு நகர காற்பந்து குழுவில் அவருக்கு ஓர் இடத்தைப் பெற்றுத் தந்தது.[26]<அடுத்த மூன்று ஆண்டுகளும் இளையோர் பிரிவில் வெற்றியாளர் விருதை வென்றது அந்தக்குழு.[27][28] அதன்பிறகு நிபுனுத்துவ காற்பந்தாட்டம் அவரை அழைத்தது. சான்டாஸ் குழுவில் சேர்ந்தார் பெலே."[27] சேர்ந்த முதல் ஆண்டிலேயே சாதனை அளவாக பதினேழு கோல்களைப் புகுத்தினார்.[29][30][30][31][32][33] அவரது அபாரத்திறன் 1958 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான உலகக் கிண்ண போட்டிகளில் பிரேசில் தேசியக் குழுவில் இடம்பெற்றுத் தந்தது. அந்த ஆண்டு இறுதிப்போட்டியில் ஸ்வீடனை 2:5 என்ற கோல் கணக்கில் வீழ்த்தி உலகக் கிண்ணத்தை முதன் முறையாக வென்றது பிரேசில்.[34] அந்த வெற்றிக்கு நடுநாயகமாக விளங்கியது பெலேயின் அபாரத்திறன்தான்.[35] உலகக் கிண்ணத்தை அவர் வென்றபோது அவருக்கு வயது பதினேழு.

திடல் முழுவதும் ஆட்டத்தை உணர்ந்து ஆடும் பாங்கு, கண கச்சிதமாக பந்தை தள்ளும் முறை, லாவகமாக இரண்டு மூன்று தற்காப்பு ஆட்டக்காரர்களை ஏமாற்றி முன்னேறும் திறன், தலையாலும், மார்பாலும், தொடையாலும் பந்தை கட்டுப்படுத்தும் மந்திரம், குறி தவறாமல் பந்தை வலை சேர்க்கும் தந்திரம் என இவற்றால் காற்பந்து ரசிகர்களை கிறங்கச் செய்தார் பெலே. 1970 ஆம் ஆண்டில் மெக்ஸிகோவில் நடைபெற்ற உலகக் கிண்ண இறுதியாட்டத்தில் அபரிமிதமான திறன் காட்டி 4:1 என்ற கோல் கணக்கில் இத்தாலியை வீழ்த்தி பிரேசில் மூன்றாவது முறையாக உலகக் கிண்ணத்தை பெற உதவினார் பெலே. அந்த ஆட்டத்தில் அவர் தலையால் முட்டிப் போட்ட கோல்தான் மறக்க முடியாதது என்று ஒரு பேட்டியில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார் பெலே.[36]

பிரேசில் மூன்றாவது முறையாக உலகக் கிண்ணத்தை வென்ற மறுநாள் 'தி சண்டே டைம்ஸ்' இந்த தலையங்கத்தை வெளியிட்டது. How do u Spell Pele?? G-O-D. பிரேசிலுக்கு மூன்று உலகக் கிண்ணங்களைப் பெற்றுத் தந்த பெலே 1970 ஆம் ஆண்டு தேசியக் குழுவிலிருந்து ஓய்வு பெற்றார். ஆனால் தொடர்ந்து சாண்டோஸ் குழுவுக்கு ஆடினார். 1974 ஆம் ஆண்டு காற்பந்தாட்டத்திலிருந்து ஓய்வு பெறுவதாக அறிவித்தார். ஆனால் அமெரிக்காவின் நியூயார்க் சிட்டி காஸ்மாஸ் காற்பந்துக் குழுவின் தலைவர் தனது குழுவுக்காக விளையாடும்படி கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.[37] பெலே தன் குழுவுக்கு ஆடினால் அமெரிக்காவில் காற்பந்தாட்ட மோகம் ஏற்படும் என்று அவர் நம்பினார். பெலேயும் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகள் அமெரிக்கர்களுக்கு தன் காற்பந்தாட்டாத் திறமையைக் காட்டி 1978 ஆம் ஆண்டு காற்பந்தாட்டத்திலிருந்து ஓய்வு பெற்றார். காற்பந்தாட்டத்தை அமெரிக்காவில் பிரபலப் படுத்திய பெருமை பெலேயையேச் சாரும். அவரது ஓய்வு அறிவிப்பு நிகழ்ச்சியில் 25 நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த 761 பத்திரிக்கையாளர்களும், சில நாட்டுத் தலைவர்களும் கலந்துகொண்டு அவருக்குப் பிரியா விடை அளித்தனர்.

22 ஆண்டு காற்பந்தாட்ட அத்தியாயத்தில் மொத்தம் 1282 கோல்களைப் புகுத்தினார் பெலே.[38][39] ஹாட்ரிக் எனப்படும் ஒரே ஆட்டத்தில் தொடர்ந்து மூன்று கோல்கள் போடுவதிலும் உலகச் சாதனையை செய்திருக்கிறார். அவர் போட்டிருக்கும் மொத்த ஹாட்ரிக்குகள் 92. காற்பந்தாட்ட உலகின் மிகச் சிறந்த வீரராக கருதப்படும் அவரை 'கருப்பு முத்து' என்றும் பத்திரிக்கையாளர்கள் அழைத்தனர். எங்கே வேறு ஒரு நாட்டின் குடியுரிமையை அவர் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு விடுவாரோ? என்று அஞ்சிய பிரேசில் பெலேயைத் தேசியப் புதையலாக அறிவித்தது.[40] 1978 ஆம் ஆண்டு அவருக்கு அனைத்துலக அமைதி பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது. இருபதாம் நூற்றாண்டு முடிவதற்கு இருபது ஆண்டுகள் இருந்தபோதே பெலேவை அந்த நூற்றாண்டின் மிகச் சிறந்த விளையாட்டு வீரராக அறிவித்தது அனைத்துலக ஒலிம்பிக் குழு.
