சீனப் பெயர்
சீன மரபு முறைகளுக்கும், இலக்கண, ஒலிப்பியல் முறைகளுக்கும் ஒழுங்கி அமைந்த பெயர் சீனப் பெயர் ஆகும்.
தமிழ்ப் பெயர், மேற்குநாட்டு பெயர் மரபுகளில் இருந்து சீனப் பெயர் மரபுகள் வேறுபடுகின்றன. சீனப் பெயர் மரபில் குடும்பப் பெயர் முதலாதகவும், நபரின் பெயர் இரண்டாவதாகவும் அமைகின்றது. ஒருவரின் குடும்பப் பெயர் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக வரும் பெயர். பொதுவாக அவரின் தந்தை பெயர் இல்லை.
