பேரரக்கன் (விண்மீன்)
பேரரக்கன்கள் (Supergiants) எனப்படுபவை மிகப்பெரிய மற்றும் பேரொளிமிக்க விண்மீன்களாகும்.[1][2][3] இவைசூரியனை விட 200 முதல் 1000 மடங்கு பெரியதாக இருக்கலாம். இவற்றை நிறத்தை பொறுத்து வகைப்படுத்துவர். ஹெர்ட்ஷ்ப்ருங்-ரஸ்ஸல் வரைபடத்தின் மேற்பகுதியில் வீற்றிருக்கும் இவ்விண்மீன்களின் இயல்ஒளிச்செறிவு -3 முதல் -8 ஆகவும், வெப்பநிலை 3,500 K முதல் 20,000 K விற்கு மேலாகவும் உள்ளன.
