குஜராத் முதலமைச்சர் என்பவர் மேற்கு இந்திய மாநிலமான குஜராத்தின் அரசுத் தலைவர் ஆவார். பாம்பே மாநிலத்தில் இருந்து மே 1, 1960 அன்று குஜராத்தி மொழி பேசும் மாவட்டங்களை பிரித்து இம்மாநிலம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. இதுவரை 15 பேர் குஜராத் முதலமைச்சர்களாக இருந்துள்ளனர். இவர்களில் பெரும்பாலானோர் இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரசு கட்சியை சேர்ந்தவர்கள். மிக நீண்ட காலம் பதவியிலிருந்த முதல்வர் பாரதிய ஜனதா கட்சியை சேர்ந்த நரேந்திர மோதி ஆவார். 15வது இந்தியப் பிரதமராக பதவியேர்க்க அவர் ராஜினாமா செய்த பின், அதே கட்சியை சேர்ந்த ஆனந்திபென் படேல் முதலமைச்சர் ஆனார். இவர் தான் இம்மாநிலத்தின் முதல் பெண் முதலமைச்சர் ஆவார்.
