ராம் நாத் கோவிந்த் (Ram Nath Kovind) (பிறப்பு: 1 அக்டோபர் 1945)[1] பீகார் மாநிலத்தின் ஆளுனர் ஆவார்.[2] மேலும் 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டு, பாரதிய ஜனதாக் கட்சியின் சார்பாக இந்தியக் குடியசுத் தலைவர் தேர்தலுக்கு முன்மொழியப்பட்டவரும் ஆவார்.[3][4] [5][6][7] பாரதீய ஜனதாக் கட்சியினைச் சார்ந்த அரசியல்வாதியான இவர் ஒரு தலித்திய தலைவரும் ஆவார்.[8][9] 1994-2000 மற்றும் 2000-2006 ஆகிய காலங்களில் உத்திரப் பிரதேசம் மாநிலத்திலிருந்து மேல்சபை அமைச்சராகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவரும் ஆவார்.

பிறப்பும் கல்வியும்

1 அக்டோபர் 1945 ஆம் ஆண்டில் உத்திரப்பிரதேசம் மாநிலத்தின் தீராப்பூர் பகுதியில் பிறந்தார். தந்தையார் மைகு லால் தாயார் கலாவதி. இவர் கான்பூர் பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் சட்டக் கல்வி பயின்றார். இவர் தில்லி நீதிமன்றத்தில் தொழில்முறை வழக்கறிஞராகப் பணியாற்றினார்.[10][11]

அரசியல்

1998 முதல் 2000 ஆண்டு வரை பாரதீய ஜனதாக் கட்சியில் பட்டியல் மற்றும் பழங்குடி இனத்தவர் பிரிவின் தலைவராக இருந்தார். மேலும் அகில இந்திய கோலி சமாஜின் (All-India Koli Samaj) தலைவராகவும் இருந்தார்.[12] கட்சியின் தேசிய ஊடகத் தொடர்பாளராகவும் பணியாற்றினார்.19 ஜூன், 2017 அன்று பாரதீய ஜனதாக் கட்சியின் தலைவர் அமித் ஷா இவரைக் குடியரசுத் தலைவர் வேட்பாளராக அறிவித்தார்.[13]
