லித்தானி ஆறு, லெபனான் நாட்டில் பாயும் ஆறுகளி ஒன்றாகும். லெபனான் நாட்டின் கிழக்கில் உள்ள பெக்கா பள்ளத்தாக்கில் உருவாகும் லித்தானி ஆறு, தெற்காக பாய்ந்து, டயர் நகரத்தை கடந்த பின் மத்தியத்தரைக் கடலில் கலக்கிறது. லித்தானி ஆறு 140 கிலோ மீட்டர் நீளம் கொண்டது. இந்த ஆற்றின் சராசரி நீர் வெளியேற்றம் 920 மில்லியன் கன மீட்டர் ஆகும்.[1][2]லித்தானி ஆற்று நீரால் தெற்கு லெபனான் மக்களின் குடிநீர், வேளாண்மை மற்றும் புனல் மின்சாரம் உற்பத்தி செய்ய முடிகிறது.
லித்தானி ஆற்றில் கொட்டப்படும் வேதியியல் கழிவுகளால் நீரின் தரம் மற்றும் ஆற்றின் ஆரோக்கியம் மிகவும் கெட்டுள்ளது. [3]
