யகிடோ (ஆங்கிலம்: Yakido; யப்பான்: 八木戸鶏) என்பது ஜப்பானிய சண்டையிடும் கோழி இனமாகும். இது சாமோ இனத்தைச் சேர்ந்தது. இது பத்தொன்பதாம் நூற்றாண்டின் மத்தியில் தெற்கு ஒன்சூவில் உள்ள கன்சாய் பகுதியில் வளர்க்கப்பட்டது. இது 1950-ல் ஜப்பானின் இயற்கை நினைவுச்சின்னமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.[6]:{{{3}}}
வரலாறு[தொகு]
யகிடோ சண்டை கோழியினம் சாமோ குழுவிலிருந்து பெறப்பட்டது. இவை பதினேழாம் நூற்றாண்டின் முற்பகுதியில், எடோ காலத்தில் தாய்லாந்திலிருந்து கொண்டு வரப்பட்ட மலாய் வகை பறவைகளிலிருந்து வந்ததாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.[7]:{{{3}}} யகிடோ பத்தொன்பதாம் நூற்றாண்டின் நடுப்பகுதியில், எடோ காலத்தின் பிற்பகுதியில், தெற்கு ஒன்சூவில் உள்ள கன்சாய் பகுதியில் உள்ள மீ பிரிபெக்ச்சரில் வளர்க்கப்பட்டது.[8]:{{{3}}}[9]:{{{3}}} இது மே 1950இன் 214 சட்டத்தின் கீழ் ஜப்பானின் இயற்கை நினைவுச்சின்னமாக மாற்றப்பட்டது.[6]:{{{3}}}

யகிடோ என்பது சண்டை சேவல் வகையைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு சிறிய பறவை. இது தசையுடன் வலிமையானது, மிகவும் நிமிர்ந்து நிற்கக்கூடியது. இது கடினமான, நெருக்கமான இறகுகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. இதன் இறக்கைகள் உடலுடன் நெருக்கமாகக் காணப்படும். இது கருப்பு நிறத்தில் மட்டுமே காணப்படுகிறது.[4]:{{{3}}} இதனுடைய அலகு மற்றும் கால்கள் மஞ்சள் நிறத்தில் இருக்கும். சில சமயங்களில் கருப்பு நிற அடையாளங்களுடன் இருக்கும். மும்மடங்கு கொண்டையினைக் கொண்டவை.[8]:{{{3}}}

பயன்பாடு[தொகு]
யகிடோ பெரிய சண்டை சேவல்களுக்கு ஒரு மாற்றுக் கோழியாக உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.[8]:{{{3}}} இக்கோழிகள் வருடத்திற்கு சுமார் 80 நுரை நிற அல்லது பழுப்பு நிற முட்டைகளை இடுகின்றன. முட்டை எடை சுமார் 50 கிராம் எடையுள்ளது.[2]:{{{3}}}
