மறுதொடக்கம் (புனைகதை)
மறுதொடக்கம் அல்லது மீள் உருவாக்கம் என்பது ஒரு தொடர் புனைகதைகளில் கற்பனை பிரபஞ்சம் சார்ந்த தொடருக்கான புதிய தொடக்கத்தை குறிக்கும் ஒரு சொல் ஆகும். இது ஆரம்பத்தில் இருந்தே அதன் எழுத்துக்கள், கதைக்களங்கள் மற்றும் பின்னணியை மீண்டும் உருவாக்குவது இல்லாமல் "மறுபெயரிடு" அல்லது "ஏற்கனவே நிறுவப்பட்ட ஒரு பொழுதுபோக்கு பிரபஞ்சத்தை மறுதொடக்கம் செய்வதற்கான" ஒரு வழியாகவே விவரிக்கப்படுகின்றது.[1][2] இந்த சொல் கணனியின் மறுதொடக்கத்திலிருந்து தோன்றியதாக கருதப்படுகிறது, அதாவது கணினி அமைப்பை மறுதொடக்கம் செய்வது.[3]
மறுதொடக்கத்தின் மற்றொரு வரையறை மறு ஆக்கம் ஆகும். இது நிறுவப்பட்ட திரைப்படத் தொடரின் அல்லது பிற ஊடக உரிமையின் ஒரு பகுதியாகும்.[4] மறுதொடக்கம் என்ற சொல் தெளிவற்றதாகவும்[5] மற்றும் குழப்பமாகவும் இருப்பதால் மறு ஆக்கம்[6][7] என்ற சொல்லுடன் முரண்படுகிறது இதனால் பலரால் இந்த சொல் விமர்சிக்கப்படுகின்றது.[8] இது 2010 களில் இருந்து தனது பிரபலத்தை இழந்து வருகிறது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.[9][10]

In a lot of ways, a remake and a reboot are similar concepts. They are both brand-new versions of previous movies. However, "reboot" is more commonly used for film franchises, while "remake" is more often used for stand-alone movies.
