Democratic Pograssive Alliance was a name given to the alliance even for the last parliamentary elcetions or even before that. Some one can verify it and include in article. The alliance name was same and the DMK was the heading member in the state and in between lot of parties joined and left it. This can be indicated if the article is expanded--ரவி 08:27, 12 மே 2006 (UTC)
