பாரிசில் இருந்து பேராசிரியர் ஃழான் லூ செவாலியர் (Jean-Luc Chevillard) இக்கட்டுரையில் குறிப்பிட்ட தகவல் தவறு என்று பயனர் செல்வாவுக்குச் சுட்டிக்காட்டினார் (மடல் ஏப்பிரல் 1, 2010). அவருக்கு நன்றிகள்.--செல்வா 01:26, 4 ஏப்ரல் 2010 (UTC) அவர் கடிதத்தின் பகுதி கீழே:

P.S. I had also noticed another mistake,
a few weeks ago, while reading the pages
on the tree that is called "Yew tree" in English,
"If" in French, "Eibe" in German.

The Tamil Wikipedia claims that the tree is called
"தாளிசபத்திரி"

but I suspect that that is wrong
and the plant called தாளிசபத்திரி
is not the same plant
as the yew tree.

The Tamil Lexicon (page 1857, vol. III) says that it can be:
-- either the Wild-cinnamon (cinnamonum iners)
-- or the Cassia cinnamon (cinnamonum macrocarpum)

தாளிசபத்திரி என்பது சென்னைப் பேரகராதியில் கீழ்க்காணுமாறு கொடுத்துள்ளது
தாளிசபத்திரி tāḷica-pattiri
, n. < tāliša- patrin. 1. Wild-cinnamon, m. tr., Cinnamomum iners; மரவகை. (M. M. 882.) 2. Cassia cinnamon, m. tr., Cinnamomum macrocarpum;
