பெ. சீனிவாசன்
பெ. சீனிவாசன் (P. Seenivasan)( இ. ஜனவரி 5 2009 )[1] திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஓர் இந்திய அரசியல்வாதியும் தமிழக சட்டமன்ற மேனாள் உறுப்பினரும் ஆவார். இவர் 1971 முதல் 1972 வரை தமிழக சட்டமன்ற அவையின் துணைத்தலைவராகவும் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.[2][3] தமிழக சட்டமன்றத்திற்கு விருதுநகர் தொகுதியிலிருந்தும் , சிவகாசி சட்டமன்றத் தொகுதியிலிருந்தும் திராவிட முன்னேறக் கழகத்தின் சார்பாக 1967, 1971 மற்றும் 1989 ஆண்டுகளில் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார்.[4][5][6][7]
அரசியல்
[தொகு]தமிழக மாணவர்கள் இந்தி எதிர்ப்புச் சங்கம் என்ற அமைப்பு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. அதன் உறுப்பினர்களாகத் தமிழகமெங்கிலும் உள்ள கல்லூரிகளின் மாணவர் சங்க தலைவர்கள் இருந்தனர். அவர்களில் பெ. சீனிவாசனும் இருந்தார். இந்தித் திணிப்பு எதிர்ப்புப் போராட்டம் 1965 இல் பொதுவான காங்கிரசு எதிர்ப்பு இயக்கம், 1967ஆம் ஆண்டு பொதுதேர்தலில் அதனைத் தோல்வியடையச் செய்யும் நோக்கத்தோடு மாறியது. 20 பிப்ரவரி 1966இல் சங்கத்தின் முதல் மாநில அளவிலான மாநாடு நடந்தது. அதில் பங்கேற்ற இராஜாஜி மாணவர்களைக் காங்கிரசின் தோல்விக்காக உழைக்குமாறு வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தார். 1967 தேர்தலில் மாணவர் தலைவர் பெ. சீனிவாசன் காமராஜருக்கு எதிராக விருதுநகர் சட்டமன்றத் தொகுதியில் போட்டியிட்டார். தமிழகத்தின் அனைத்துப் பகுதிகளிலிருந்தும் மாணவர்கள் விருதுநகர் வந்து சீனிவாசனுக்காகப் பிரசாரம் செய்து பெரும் வெற்றியைத் தேடித் தந்தனர்.
