உமா தாமஸ் (Uma Thomas ) ஒரு இந்திய அரசியல்வாதி ஆவார், இவர் திருக்கக்கரா சட்டமன்றத்தை பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தும் கேரள சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினராக பணியாற்றுகிறார். இவர் 2022 திருக்காக்கரா இடைத்தேர்தலில் 25,016 வாக்குகள் வித்தியாசத்தில் வெற்றி பெற்றார், இது இவரது கணவர் பி. டி. தாமஸின் மரணம் காரணமாக நடைபெற்றது.[1] உமா தாமஸ் கேரள சட்டமன்றத்தில் INC யின் ஒரே பெண் உறுப்பினர் ஆவார்.[2][3]

[தொகு]29 டிசம்பர் 2024 அன்று கொச்சி ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு சர்வதேச மைதானத்தில் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த தற்காலிக மேடையில் இருந்து அவர் 20 அடி உயரத்தில் இருந்து கீழே விழுந்தார். கின்னஸ் புத்தகத்திற்கான முயற்சியில் மிருதங்கா விஷன் மற்றும் ஆஸ்கார் நிகழ்வுகள் பரதநாட்டிய நிகழ்ச்சியை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தன.[4][5][6]
