பகூன் மக்கள் (Bahun) (நேபாள மொழி:बाहुन) நேபாளம் நாட்டின் வாழும் இவர்களை மலை பிராமணர்கள் என்றும்[3], பிராமணர் என்றும் அழைப்பர். இவர்கள் கன்யாகுப்ஜ பிராமணர்களின் ஒரு உட்பிரிவாக கருதப்படுகின்றனர்.[4][5][6][7]2011 நேபாள கணக்கெடுப்பின்படி, மக்கள் தொகையில் சேத்திரி மக்களுக்கு அடுத்து பகூன் மக்கள் இரண்டாம் இடத்தில் உள்ளனர்.[8]
தோற்றம்

[தொகு]2021 நேபாள மக்கள் தொகை கணக்கெடுப்பின்படி பகூன் மக்களின் (மலை பிராமணர்கள்) மக்கள் தொகை 32,92,373 (11.29%) ஆகும்.[13]மாநிலம் வாரியாக பகூன் மக்கள் தொகை பின்வருமாறு:

- பாக்மதி மாநிலம் (18.3%)
- தூரமேற்கு மாநிலம் (13.0%)
