ரவி, பொதுவாக நீங்கள் சொல்வது சரிதான். ஆனால், சித்த மருத்துவம் நோக்கி தகவல்கள் இணையத்தில் பொதுவாக கிடைப்பது அரிது. ஆங்கில மருத்துவம் போன்று பாரிய தகவல் தரவு தளங்கள் கிடையாது. ஆகவே, சித்த மருத்துவம் சார் இணைப்புகளை குறித்து வைத்திருக்கின்றேன். எனினும், consistant aka இருக்கவேண்டும், எப்படி இதை அணுகலாம்? --Natkeeran 17:24, 5 மே 2006 (UTC)

உங்கள் செய்கையின் நன்னோக்கம் புரிந்தாலும், நீண்ட கால நோக்கில் வணிக இணைப்புகளை சேர்ப்பது பிரச்சினையை உண்டு பண்ணக்கூடும். மேற்குறிப்பிட்ட நிறுவனங்கள் தனிப்பட்ட கட்டுரை உருவாக்கும் அளவுக்கு பிரபலமாக இருந்தால் அங்கு இவ்விணைப்புகளைத் தரலாம். Otherwise, I would recommend it as a policy not to include the links anywhere. This would avoid people from cluttering wikipedia with commercial links in the future. Personally, I donno about aravind herbal and skm sidhdha though a trust collects money for medicines. I see these links as unintended advertisements for them. Ravi, I understand you concerns. I have absolutely no connection with the above ventures. And, I'll remove the above links. But, what is the general policy in regards to commercial links. For instance, can they be included in the external links page or not. This becomes tricky when you consider that many technology articles are commerical ventures (msn, yahoo, etc). --Natkeeran 19:27, 6 மே 2006 (UTC)

Ya, I understand the problem of determining what is commercial and not.Its subjective and leads to lot of arguements. மேற்குறிப்பிட்ட நிறுவனங்கள் தனிப்பட்ட கட்டுரை உருவாக்கும் அளவுக்கு பிரபலமாக இருந்தால் அங்கு இவ்விணைப்புகளைத் தரலாம். Then, comes the issue of how notable is a firm to be included in wikipedia. Even with personalities, we have this problem of how notable one is to be featured in wikipedia. In case of yahoo, msn, google I am sure that everyone knows them and they are not going to benefit anyway by links from wikipedia. But that is not the case in the above links. Sure, we would like to inform our readers about sidhdhaa and where such treatment is available. BUt I would prefer to give links to government medical institutions. I hope u would understand my concern that some சிட்டுக் குருவி லேகிய வியாபாரி should not link to his website from wikipedia saying that he is just informing people :) and in fields like medicine it would severly bring down wikipedia's credibility! I feel that we should have a general guiding policy and whenever needed we should discuss case by case whether one link is commercial or not--ரவி 19:39, 6 மே 2006 (UTC)
