துருவேறா எஃகு
துருவேறா எஃகு (stainless steel) பெருமளவு இரும்பைக் கொண்டிருப்பது; இதில் குறைந்தது பதினோரு விழுக்காடு குரோமியமும், சிறிதளவு நிக்கலும், கரியும் கலந்துள்ளன. துருப்பிடிப்பதையும், அரிமானம் உண்டாவதையும் தடுக்கும் பொருட்டு குரோமியம் கலக்கப்படுகிறது. எனவே துருவேறா எஃகு என்பது இரும்பு, குரோமியம், நிக்கல், கரி ஆகியவை கலந்துள்ள கலப்புலோகம். இது குரோமியத்தின் அளவை பொருத்து வகைப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.[1][2][3]
