துருக்கியின் வரலாறு என்பது தற்போதைய துருக்கியின் பிரதேசத்தை உருவாக்கும் பிரதேசத்தின் வரலாறு ஆகும். துருக்கியின் அனதோலியா (துருக்கியின் ஆசியப் பகுதி) மற்றும் கிழக்கு திரேசு (ஐரோப்பிய) ஆகிய இரண்டின் வரலாற்றையும் உள்ளடக்கியது. முன்னர் அரசியல் ரீதியாக வேறுபட்ட இந்த இரண்டு பிரதேசங்களும் ரோமானியப் பேரரசின் கட்டுப்பாட்டின் கீழ் இருந்தது. கிபி நான்காம் நூற்றாண்டின் துவக்கத்தில் துருக்கியின் பெரும்பாலான பகுதிகள் ரோமானிய பைசாந்தியப் பேரரசின் ஆட்சியின் கீழ் (330–1453) இருநதது. பின்னர் இசுலாமிய செல்யூக் அரசமரபினர் நிறுவிய செல்யூக் பேரரசின் கீழ் 1037 முதல் 1194 வரை இருந்தது. இறுதியில் இசுலாமிய ஒட்டோமான் பேரரசின் கீழ் 1299–1922 இருந்தது. முஸ்தபா கமால் தலைமையில் 19 மே 1919 அன்று துவங்கிய துருக்கி விடுதலைப் போரின் முடிவில் 29 அக்டோபர் 1923 அன்று துருக்கி குடியரசு ஆனது.[1]
