பயனாளிகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும்போது பாரபட்சமற்ற தன்மையையும் உலகளாவிய சிந்தனையான நலத்தேவைகளின் சமபாவனைச் சிந்தனையையும் கருத்தில் கொள்வதை திறன்மிகு பரோபகாரிகள் வலியுறுத்துகின்றனர். திறன்மிகு ஒப்புரவாண்மையில் பிரபலமான முன்னுரிமைகளில் உலகளாவிய சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் மேம்பாடு, சமூக மற்றும் பொருளாதார சமத்துவமின்மை, விலங்குரிமை மற்றும் விலங்கு நலன், மற்றும் தொலைவெதிர்காலத்தில் மனிதகுலத் தழைப்பை அச்சுறுத்தும் அபாயங்கள் ஆகியன குறிப்பிடத்தக்கவையாகும். மிகவும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க வகையில் விலங்குரிமைச் செயற்பாட்டில் திறன்மிகு ஒப்புரவாண்மையின் செல்வாக்கு மிக வேகமாக வலுப்பெற்றுக்கொண்டு வருகிறது.^[5]
