பரோக் (Baroque) என்பது கலை வடிவம் ஆகும். இது விறைப்பு, எளிமை, கம்பீரம் ஆகியவற்றை சிலை, ஓவியம், கட்டடக்கலை, இலக்கியம், நடனம், அரங்கு, இசை ஆகியவற்றில் மிகுதியாக, தெளிவாக வெளிப்படுத்த பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது. இப்பாணி கிட்டத்தட்ட 1600 காலப்பகுதியில் உரோம், இத்தாலி ஆகிய இடங்களில் உருவாகி ஐரோப்பாவின் பல இடங்களில் பரவியது.^[1]
