ஜலால் அத்-தின் முகமது பல்கி (Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Balkhī, பாரசீக மொழி: جلالالدین محمد بلخى ) என்றும் ஜலால் அத்-தின் முகமது ரூமி (Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī, جلالالدین محمد رومی) என்றும் பரவலாக துருக்கியிலும் ஈரானிலும் ஆப்கானித்தானிலும் மௌலானா[1] (பாரசீக மொழி: مولانا) என்றும் ஆங்கிலம் பேசும் உலகில் ரூமி என்றும் அறியப்படுபவர் (30 செப்டம்பர் 1207 – 17 திசம்பர் 1273) பதின்மூன்றாவது நூற்றாண்டைச் சேர்ந்த [2]
