சிறீமான் சங்கர்தேவ் (Sankardev) (பிறப்பு:1449-மறைவு:1568), தற்கால இந்தியாவின் அசாம் மாநிலத்தின், நகாமோ மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள போர்தோவா தான் எனும் கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தவர். இவர் அசாம் மற்றும் வடக்கு வங்காளத்தில் 15-16ம் நூற்றாண்டில் ஏகசரண தர்மம் எனும் புதிய வைணவத்தை நிறுவிய^[6]சாது, கவிஞர், நாடக ஆசிரியர், நடனமாடுபவர், நடிகர், இசை அறிஞர், சமூக சீர்திருத்தவாதி ஆவார்.

இவர் அசாம் பகுதியில் கிருஷ்ண பக்தி இயக்கத்தை பரப்பியவர். அசாமின் பண்டைய அகோம் இராச்சியம் மற்றும் கூச் பெகர் இராச்சியங்களின் பண்பாட்டின் நாடகக் கலையில் போர் கீதத்தை கிருஷ்ண பக்தி மூலம் அசாம் மற்றும் வடக்கு வங்காளத்தில் பரப்பியவர். இவரது இலக்கிய மற்றும் கலைப் பங்களிப்புகள் இன்று அசாமில் வாழும் மரபுகளாகத் திகழ்கின்றன.

1568ல் சங்கர்தேவின் இறப்பிற்குப் பின் அவரது சீடர் மகாதேவ் ஏகதர்ம சரணத்தின் தலைவராக விளங்கினார்.
