கான் யூனிசு (அரபி: خان يونس, translation: Caravansary [of] Jonah) என்பது காசாக்கரையின் தெற்குப் பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள பாலத்தீனிய நகரமாகும். பாலத்தீனிய புள்ளியியல் நடுவண் செயலகம் அளித்துள்ள தகவலின்படி 2007 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 142,637 பேர்; 2010 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 202,000 பேர்; 2012 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 350,000 பேர் என்பதாக இந்நகரத்தின் மக்கட்தொகை இருந்தது.[1] நடுநிலக் கடலுக்கு கிழக்கே 4 கி.மீ (2.5 மைல்கள்) தொலைவில் அமைந்திருக்கும் இந்நகரில் பாலைவனத்தை ஒத்த தட்பவெப்பநிலை நிலவுகிறது. கோடைக்காலத்தில் அதிகபட்சமாக 30°C வெப்பநிலையும், குளிர்காலத்தில் 10°C வெப்பநிலையும் இருக்கும். ஆண்டு மழையளவு 260 மில்லிமீட்டர் (10.2 அங்குலம்) ஆகும்.
கான் யூனிசு தொகுதி, பாலத்தீனிய சட்ட மேலவையில் 5 உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. 2006 ஆம் ஆண்டில் நடந்த பாலத்தீனிய சட்ட மேலவைக்கானத் தேர்தலில், ஹமாஸ் இயக்கத்தின் உறுப்பினர்கள் 3 பேரும், ஃபத்தா இயக்கத்தின் உறுப்பினர்கள் 2 பேரும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டனர். இந்நகரம் தற்போது ஹமாஸ் குழுவால் நிர்வகிக்கப்படுகிறது.
