ஏர் இந்தியா பறப்பு 171 (Air India Flight 171) என்ற பயணியர் வானூர்தி இந்தியாவின் குசராத்து மாநிலம் அகமதாபாது சர்தார் வல்லபாய் படேல் பன்னாட்டு வானூர்தி நிலையத்திலிருந்து இலண்டன் செல்வதற்காக 230 பயணிகள், 12 பணியாளர்கள் என 242 பேருடன் 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டு சூன் மாதம் 12 ஆம் தேதி பிற்பகலில் புறப்பட்ட சிறிது நேரத்திலேயே தரையில் விழுந்து விபத்துக்குள்ளானது.[1][2][3] விபத்துக்குள்ளான வானூர்தி போயிங் 787-8 வகையைச் சேர்ந்ததாகும்.[4]
2011-இல் வணிக சேவையில் நுழைந்த 787 ட்ரீம்லைனரின் முதல் அபாயகரமான விபத்து, விமான இழப்பு இதுவாகும்.

[தொகு]விபத்துக்குள்ளான விமானம் 11 வயதான போயிங் 787-8 ட்ரீம்லைனர் எனும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட VT-ANB வகை. இதன் வரிசை எண் 36279 ஆகும்.[5][6] இந்த வானூர்தி போயிங் எவரெட் தொழிற்சாலையில்[7][8] உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. மேலும் போயிங் சவுத் கரோலினாவில் செய்யப்பட்ட உருகிப் பிரிவுகளும் அடங்கும்.[9] இதனை 28 சனவரி 2014 முதல் ஏர் இந்தியா பயன்படுத்த தொடங்கியது. இந்த வானூர்தி இரண்டு ஜெனரல் எலக்ட்ரிக் ஜிஎன்எக்ஸ்-1பி67 பொறிகளால் இயக்கப்பட்டது.[10]
ஏர் இந்தியா 2023-இல் இலண்டன் கேட்விக் வழித்தடங்களை இயக்கத் தொடங்கியது.[11] விபத்தின் போது, இது அகமதாபாத்திற்கு ஐந்து பறப்பு உட்பட ஒரு வாரத்திற்கு பன்னிரண்டு புறப்பாடுகளை கொண்டிருந்தது.[12] இந்த வானூர்தி நிலையம் அடர்த்தியான மக்கள் வசிக்கும் பகுதிகளால் சூழப்பட்டுள்ளது.[13]

இந்த வானூர்தியில் 230 பயணிகள் உட்பட 242 பேர் இருந்தனர். இவர்களில் 13 குழந்தைகள், 2 கைக்குழந்தைகள் உட்பட - 2 விமானிகளும் 10 விமான பணிப்பெண்களும் பயணித்தனர்.[14][15] பயணிகளில் 169 பேர் இந்திய நாட்டவர்கள், 53 பேரி ஐக்கிய இராச்சியத்தினையும், 7 பேர் போர்த்துகல் நாட்டினையும் ஒரு கனடா நாட்டவரும் அடங்குவர்.[16][17][18] 55 வயதான விமானி சுமீத் சபர்வால், 8,200 மணிநேரம் பறந்த அனுபவமும், முதல் அதிகாரி கிளைவ் குந்தர், (32 வயது) 1,100 மணிநேரம் பறந்த அனுபவமும் கொண்டவர்.[19][20]

[தொகு]விபத்திற்குள்ளான வானூர்தி 11 வயதாகிய போயிங் 787-8 ஆகும். 14 டிசம்பர் 2013 அன்று முதலில் பறந்த இவ்வானூர்தியை, 28 ஜனவரி 2014 அன்று ஏர் இந்தியா பயன்படுத்தத் தொடங்கியது.
மேடே
[தொகு]விமானம் சேதமடைந்தபோது, கடைசி முன்மொழிவு 'மேடே' அழைப்பாக இருந்தது. இது உயிருக்கு மிக ஆபத்தான நிலையில் உதவி வேண்டி கொடுக்கப்பட்ட அழைப்பாகும்.
