உச்சியாட்சி
தாவரங்களின் வேர்,தண்டு என்பவற்றின் உச்சிப்பகுதிகளில் செயற்படும் ஓமோன்களின் செயற்பாடுகள் காரணமாக கக்கவளர்ச்சி பாதிக்கப்படுதல் உச்சியாட்சி எனப்படும்.தாவர உச்சிப் பகுதியில் சுரக்கப்படும் ஒட்சின் எனப்படும் வளர்ச்சி ஓமோனே இவ் உச்சியாட்சிச் செயற்பாட்டுக்கு காரணமாகும்.தாவரங்கள் உயரத்தில் நீண்டு வளர்ந்து ஒளியை இலகுவில் பெற்றுக் கொள்ள உச்சியாட்சி துணைபுரிகிறது.
உச்சிப்பகுதியில் சுரக்கப்படும் ஒட்சின்கள் தண்டு நுனிப்பகுதியில் கலப்பிரிவைத் தூண்டி வளர்ச்சியை துரிதப்படுத்துவது மட்டுமன்றி அது கீழே பரவி கக்க அரும்புகளின் வளர்ச்சியை தடை செய்யவும் எதுவாகிறது. இதனால் கிளை உருவாக்கம் தடைப்படும். இதனால் முனை அரும்புகளை நீக்குவது கிளைகொள்ளலைக் கூட்டும்.
