ஆல் (வேதியியல்)
ஆல் (suffix –ol) என்ற பின்னொட்டு –OH என்ற வேதி வினைக்குழுவை மூலக்கூற்று வாய்ப்பாட்டில் கொண்ட கரிமச் சேர்மங்களுக்குப் பெயரிட பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. இப்பின்னொட்டு ஆல்ககால் என்ற சொல்லில் இருந்து பெறப்பட்டதாகும்.[1]
