பிராமி மற்றும் கரோஷ்டி எழுத்துமுறையில, வெள்ளி நாணயத்தில் சத்ரபதி நகபானர் என பெயர் பொறிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது[4][5]

நகபானர் (Nahapana) Na-ha-pā-na,[6] மேற்கு இந்தியாவை ஆண்ட இந்தோ சிதிய குல வழித்தோன்றலின் மேற்கு சத்திரபதி வம்ச மன்னர் ஆவார்.[7][8] நகபானர் மேற்கிந்தியாவை கிபி முதல் அல்லது இரண்டாவது நூற்றாண்டில் ஆட்சி செய்தார் என்பதை இவர் வெளியிட்ட வெள்ளி நாணயங்கள் மூலம் அறியப்படுகிறது. இவர் மன்னர் பூமகாவின் மகன் ஆவார். இவர் தற்கால மகாராட்டிரா மாநிலத்தில் பௌத்த துறவிகளுக்காக கர்லா குகைகள், மன்மோடி குகைகள், நாசிக் குகைகள் மற்றும் பாஜா குகைகள் நிறுவினார்.[9]
